Zen altered my wedding dress beautifully! Would really recommend using her. She was lovely to work with and turnaround was really quick! 10/10!

I altered 5 wedding gowns with Zen and she is the most skillful, honest and caring bridal seamstress-expert-extraordinaire you could put your trust in. No matter the fabric or style of dress, Zen has the smartest ideas on how to alter and what can be done to flatter you from every angle. She was very honest and would not charge if it was something she could afford to do easily without charging and she’ll be upfront about this. She also has a great eye for fashion decisions and I’m glad I listened to her advice on how to alter my gowns to fit my body and style specifically. She was also very brave as four of my gowns were several sizes too large for me and she had to make some very bold decisions and cuts for every dress, including the plain gowns that would not hide any miscalculations, while at the other extreme, she spared no effort to reposition intricate embellishments. Thank you Zen for making my bridal journey perfect with all the gowns I so loved.

Wonderful service from Zen who went above and beyond to find a way to save 2 pairs of my daughter’s ripped jeans. Completed the work to time and was very kind and really wanted to check that I was happy with her work, which I was! Lovely lady and very professional. Thank you!

What can I say about Zen! I called Zen at 9am on a Sunday in desperation as my daughter’s 18th Birthday dress hadn’t turned up and we literally bought one that morning at a little prom boutique that opened especially for us at 8.30am!! The day of her party! (I was so stressed - more than my daughter)!
The dress needed altering in length and I found Zen on a google search and called her.

She was amazing as soon as she answered the phone - she said although it was her day off she wanted to help me and told us to come to her straight away! When we got there she made us feel so welcome, she was so friendly and said she could do the alterations by 2pm (my daughters party was at 6!)

We chatted and laughed so much whilst she pinned the dress and we both left feeling very confident.
When I came to collect the dress (it was ready by 12) Zen had not only done the alterations but also made my daughter a matching scrunchie and written her a lovely card and given her a big bar of chocolate for her birthday.

Honestly she is amazing - clearly amazing at what she does, professional and also very personable and to do this for us at such short notice was so kind and we really really appreciated it. There was at least 8 inches that needed to be removed from the length and also the bust needed altering.

What a 5* experience - from my first initial contact with Zen to our last contact. She was amazing. Zen had been highly recommended from the bridal shop I purchased my dress from.  Id found out quite late into my wedding planning that I was pregnant and my baby would actually arrive 6 weeks before my wedding.
Zen went above and beyond from first call to our first alterations meeting. She put my mind at ease and said she was able to make my dress perfect for my special day with only a few weeks before. She was efficient and did a fabulous job regarding my alterations in not much time. The attention to detail was fantastic and I felt amazing when trying on my dress when collecting it. I had three appointments and traveled from Fulham each time which says a lot about the great service given by Zen. Would truly highly recommend - thanks so much again

I brought 2 wedding dresses to Zen for alterations. 1 for my civil ceremony and 1 for the main wedding. The civil ceremony dress was several sizes too big and strapless. Zen added structure so it felt secure, and created a sleeve detail from scratch as I didn't want my arms fully out. She took the hem up on my main wedding dress and I felt amazing in both of them! I live in Amsterdam and had the main wedding in Blackburn, but I'm so glad I travelled to Zen for my fittings. She knows everything there is to know, is so warm and welcoming and gave me so many tips! I'm only sad I don't live closer or I would come to Zen for more alterations! Thank you so much. :)
