I’m Charles Clottin, and I’m asking for help as I work through a difficult financial setback that I cannot overcome alone. I recently graduated with a degree in meteorology after spending years balancing school with 45-hour workweeks, doing everything I could to keep moving forward. Just as I reached this important milestone, my job hours were cut by 75%, and the ongoing fallout from pandemic-era identity theft has prevented me from accessing unemployment benefits. Because of that, I’ve fallen behind on rent, vehicle payments, and utilities while trying to secure a career-level role in the environmental field. Your support will help me cover these critical arrears, protect my housing, and keep my vehicle so I can continue getting where I need to go while I search for stable work. Over the last three years, I’ve poured myself into mastering meteorology, gaining on-air forecasting experience, and building an independent digital presence to share my work. For the past two years, I have also been developing DOC WEATHER AI, a weather tech and media project that means a great deal to me. Right now, I need help creating enough stability to get through this immediate crisis so I can keep building toward the career and future I’ve worked so hard for.
