Hi, I’m Kit Elliott, editor and creator of The Daily Cryptic. I’m building the world’s smallest newspaper: one original, human-written cryptic clue every day, where the answer is only the beginning. Every clue has another story hiding underneath it. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes thoughtful. Sometimes a monthly theme. But I hope every edition leaves you with something worth carrying into the rest of your day. I also create cryptic books, themed puzzle months, learning guides, and a growing community where readers become solvers and solvers become clue writers. This is an independent little publishing project made by a real human who loves words, puzzles, art, and making strange things on the internet.
