Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) guides the program in connecting Indigenous and Western ways of knowing. Led by Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community, it brings this principle to life through events and programming in and for community.

Etuaptmunk (Two-Eyed Seeing): Seeing the world through Indigenous and Western Perspectives, together. Two-Eyed Seeing is a guiding principle for relationship building, co-learning, and integrative science, translated by Mi’kmaq Elders and academics (Dr. Cheryl Bartlett, Elders Albert and Murdena Marshall) from Unama’ki (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia). We aim to uplift diverse learners who are interested in hands-on learning and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), while reflecting on Etuaptmumk’s key teachings and using Indigenous values.
