Accepted Forms of Payment.  Reservations can be paid with cash, traveler’s checks, cashier’s checks, bank issued money orders, personal checks, e-checks, or credit card. E-checks and personal checks are NOT accepted within 14-days of arrival.  Reservations paid with a credit card will have a one-time 3% service fee taken at the time of payment. The 3% service fee is calculated off the total amount due. Credit card transaction fees are nonrefundable.

Check In?

Summer rentals: Weekly check-in is Saturdays from 4:30–6 PM; checkout the following Saturday by 10 AM. Partial-week stays are booked no more than a week ahead and depend on availability. Changes to Saturday-to-Saturday bookings are last-minute and subject to inventory.

Off-season: Some properties only rent Saturday to Saturday in April, May, and September.

Age requirement: All guests must be 25+ or part of a family group. Violations require immediate departure without refund. After booking, you’ll receive a Deposit Request Agreement via email. Please sign and return it within 48 hours to confirm your reservation.

Departure Cleaning: Maid service is included. Before leaving, please:

Empty fridge & take out trash

Run dishwasher with dirty dishes

Remove rented linens, place in bags outside front door

Close & lock windows, close blinds/drapes

Turn off lights, lock doors

Return keys to office or use key drop if arriving before office opens

A $150 fee applies for late check-out or actions delaying new guests. No late check-outs allowed.

Keyless Check-Out: Lock door, then enter 0 (star, zero, star).

Question 5

Linen Services

Accepted Answer

Surfside Realty offers linen packages for most rentals (sheets, towels, kitchen cloths). Delivered at check-in (4:30–6 PM) or shortly after. Request when booking or call to add. Requests within 24 hours of arrival may incur a $100 delivery fee, or you can pick up at our office.

Premier homes (8+ bedrooms) may include linen and bed setup; otherwise, bed setup is $10 per bed (excluding top bunk and sleeper sofas).

Linens remain property of Surfside Realty. Missing, damaged, or improperly handled linens may result in charges. Guests must place dirty linens in provided laundry bags (do not remove mattress covers or comforters) and leave them outside the door used at check-out.

Question 6

Pet Friendly Properties

Only dogs are allowed in properties listed as Pet Friendly. No pets are permitted in non-pet friendly rentals.

A $250 non-refundable pet deposit per pet applies. Each pet-friendly property allows a maximum of 2 pets per reservation.

Guests must properly dispose of pet waste or pay a $150 fee.

Bringing a pet to a non-pet friendly property will result in the guest being charged up to $1,000 per animal to cover cleaning and damages.

Question 7

What Do I Need to Bring?

Guests should check if they need to bring items such as salt, pepper, sugar, kitchen towels, coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, laundry detergent, cleaning products, and coat hangers. These are not provided by the owner or rental agent.

Equipment & Repairs

All equipment in your rental should be working properly. Please report any issues to our office promptly. We’ll do our best to fix them quickly.

Please note: No rent reductions or refunds will be given for mechanical failures (AC, heat, appliances, elevators, etc.). Service requests after 5 PM may be addressed the next business day.

Items Left behind?

Surfside Realty Co., is NOT RESPONSIBLE for personal items left in rental units. If you request us to pick up and mail items to you, if found, your credit card information will be required for us to mail items to you. Items will only be held for 30 days after you check out. After the 30 days we will donate the items to local.

Question 10

Heated pools

Accepted Answer

Houses advertised with heated pool will be heated during the following time periods: March 1st- June 1st and Sept 1st- Nov 1st of each year. Please note that pool heaters will not operate if the air temperature surrounding the heat pump drops below 55 degrees fahrenheit. The pool heat will only heat the water 10 to 15 degree warmer than the air temperature. We recommended adding pool heat to your reservation at the time of booking but it must be added no less than 72 hours from the day of check in and cannot be added after arrival.

Houses that offer pool (standard size) heat have an additional fee of $375 (electric) or $500 (gas) and must be requested to be added to the reservation. A few of our premier homes that have oversized pools have an additional fee of $600 - $800 to heat

Question 11

Deposit

A deposit is required at the time of booking. For on-line reservations, a 50% deposit will be charged to the credit card on file within 24 hours of booking the reservation. Balance, including sales tax and accommodation tax on total rent will be due 30 days prior to check-in day. There will be a $110 Peace of Mind Protection charged on all condo rentals and $200 charged on all houses.
