Absolutely amazing thank you so much to James and Ed So helpful, polite courteous so knowledgeable about the car and everything to do with it really put my mind at ease about buying this vehicle Two fantastic members of staff at Stoneacre Grantham I would definitely buy again I had lots of questions which they weee both able to give honest answers and I was not made to feel that I was asking to many questions The sale was so smooth and professional Thank you so much Ed and James

From start to finish and beyond stoneacre made car buying a good experience. Hayley from the Grantham dealership was very helpful keeping me informed every step of the way. It was a pleasure to talk to them and everyone was lovely and friendly. I've recommended them to friends and I'm loving my new car.

I was due to purchase a MINI Cooper from Stoneacre Grantham and unfortunately this turned into one of the poorest car-buying experiences I’ve had.<br><br>To be clear, Isaac, the salesperson I dealt with initially, was polite, helpful and professional throughout. I have no issue with him at all — I would happily buy from him and he even sounded genuinely frustrated when the sale fell through. The problem lies with the dealership’s wider handling of the sale.<br><br>I paid a £100 deposit on the Monday, had my finance fully arranged, and even bought a train ticket to collect the car. I was told the only delay was that the vehicle still had existing finance on it and that this would be cleared during the week. I chased this repeatedly and was assured every day that I would be collecting the car on Saturday.<br><br>On the Friday, having still heard nothing, I called again. Isaac sounded surprised and then told me he’d just been informed that the car could not be sold as it had been priced incorrectly.<br><br>Later, I spoke to another member of staff (possibly named Graham but can’t remember for certain) who gave a completely different story, claiming the car had failed MOT items and needed work so couldn’t be sold. This is simply untrue — the MOT had passed with no advisories, which anyone can verify online. Someone is clearly lying, and being given conflicting excuses only made the situation worse. This individual was also abrupt, rude, and appeared to not care in the slightest.<br><br>If the car was mis-priced, honesty from the start would have avoided all of this. Instead, I was messed around for an entire week, left without a car, out of pocket for train travel, and it even took an unreasonable amount of time to get my deposit refunded. To make matters worse, they had already sent an invoice for the car to both me and the finance company.<br><br>Overall, I was misled and given false information repeatedly. This was extremely poor service, badly handled, and completely avoidable with basic honesty and communication. I would not recommend Stoneacre Grantham and would advise others to avoid them.
