There's not a lot into my I decided to make a new discord account but here's some main reasons. 1. Organizing For a long time my discord account had been unorganized and honestly really annoying to keep even slightly organized, considering I made the account when I was 13 I changed A LOT in that time and so it's about time I forget some people and hobbies, and conversation I've had in the past. 2. To Purge and Cope For many, some items have connection to bad memories or events that they want to throw away (also called purging) to cope with that experience, and my discord account has gone through A LOT of that stuff, and honestly my curiosity kills me so every time I look back or around I get hit with a sense of pain or a sense of hatred. Generally now, I'm trying to be a new person, separate from the person I was before and this includes a new discord account to make me feel more open and confident in myself and my opinions, feelings, and interests.
