Individual counselling- 60 minutes by @sherrykaur | Stan
A confidential, supportive space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through, without judgement.
Individual counselling is suitable for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns. You may be experiencing something specific that you would like help with, or you may simply feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or unsure of what you need. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting counselling.

Sessions can support you with a wide range of issues, including:
Anxiety, worry and stress
Low mood, sadness and depression
Self-esteem and confidence
Relationship and family difficulties
Work-related stress and burnout
Life changes, transitions and uncertainty
Grief and loss
Trauma and difficult past experiences
Anger and emotional regulation
Loneliness and isolation
Overthinking and feeling overwhelmed
Personal development and self-awareness
Coping with difficult emotions
Boundaries and communication
Sleep difficulties and challenges affecting day-to-day wellbeing
Other personal, emotional or mental health concerns
What happens during a session?
Your 60-minute session is centred around you. We will take time to understand what has brought you to counselling, what you would like support with, and what feels most important to you.
You will have the opportunity to talk at your own pace in a safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment. Depending on your needs and goals, we may explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, experiences and coping strategies, and work together to identify practical ways forward.
There is no expectation that you need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. We can start wherever feels right for you.
A space that is yours
Everyone’s experience is different, and counselling is not a one-size-fits-all process. Your sessions will be tailored to your individual circumstances, needs and goals.
Whether you are dealing with a current difficulty, working through something from the past, or simply want support in understanding yourself and moving forward, you are welcome to reach out.
