Who can participate in the SDG-Challenge SA?

The challenge is open to all African university students in South Africa from 2nd year to PhD level, across all disciplines. Whether you’re studying business, engineering, environmental sciences, or the arts - your unique perspective is valuable! TVET students are also welcome to apply.

Do I need to form a team before applying?

No, you can apply as an individual, and we will place you in a diverse team.

Can I select the business partner I want to work with before the challenge?

No, students do not choose their business partner in advance. Teams are assigned to a specific challenge based on their skills, interests, and the needs of the business partners. This ensures a diverse mix of perspectives and expertise in each team.
