Before You Begin Think of the nervous system not as good or bad states, but as different gears your body moves through depending on what it needs. Each state has: a felt sense in the body a behavioural pattern a somatic signature a purpose No state is a failure, no state means you’re doing it wrong, your job is not to stay calm. Your job is to recognise which state you’re in,so you can work with your body instead of against it. This quiz offers a moment in time snapshot of your nervous system, not a diagnosis and not a label. A Note on Embodiment Embodiment isn’t about control or perfection. It’s about having a real time relationship with your internal experience. When you can sense what’s happening as it’s happening, choice becomes possible. That’s where change begins.
