My name is Kayla Raine. I aspire to support myself entirely through caring for your pet(s)! I am passionate towards the betterment of every dog I can. I use positive reinforcement practices taught through Good Dog Academy. By choosing Power Pups, your dog will have the best walker they ever had!....excluding you of course!

How to prepare for the walk

When I arrive, I will need the following items accessible to take along on the walk

Treats - soft small training treats are best as they can easily be broken up and swallowed.
Leash - non-retractable for best training results.
(optional) harness - I find harnesses provide better loose-leash training results than collars. 
Poop bags - Need 3 ready for a walk (just in case).
Favourite toy - something they will play with at the park.

I offer walking and dog sitting in the downtown Kelowna area.

Do you walk multiple dogs?

I keep my walks limited to one family per booking. This allows me to focus all my attention on your dog(s) and consider their unique needs.

What to expect

Local walks! To ensure a dog is well exercised both physically and mentally walks are a mix of the following:

- Each walk is training focused. During my time with your dog, I will work on loose leash walking and neutrality skills while around common distractions!
- I incorporate training during my walk to reinforce what your dog already knows and encourage them to learn new commands! 
- Ideally, I will take along a long leash and their favourite toy to stop in a grassy area for them to play!
- Sniffing for dogs is a major way they intake information. I will always give your dog time to sniff!

I will also send you photos after each walk!
