Kevin is a motivational speaker, street entertainer and educator in Waikiki, Hawaii. Born in 1974 with severe Cerebral Palsy after being without oxygen for 20 minutes at birth, he uses a power wheelchair and a head-pointer to type on his iPad—often mistaken for an artist at work. He earned degrees in communication and computer science in just five years, ran a computer support business for 15+ years, and has been happily married to Melinda since 2002; they raised their biological daughter (now married) and nephew together. After 47 years in Seattle, the 2021 move to Hawaii dramatically improved his health and sparked a new chapter: using upbeat music, personal humor, and video stories on Waikiki streets to inspire people, educate about living fully with CP, and show that limitations don’t define you.
