Ocean View House Cape Town

Located about 6 miles from the V&A waterfront, with a beautiful promenade along the waterfront, this was the perfect location for a relaxing time in Cape Town. With so many activities in Cape Town,  it's important to have a place for relaxation during any down time you may have,  and that's exactly what OVH provided for us. The breakfast was delicious as well as lunch/snack items you could order. The rooms were beautiful and had very thoughtful amenities.  We will definitely stay again if we travel back to Cape Town.

Absolutely stunning location, a true oasis by the sea. We stayed in Panoramic apartments and beds were so comfortable. We were a family of 3 and the sofa bed for child was made with an excellent quality mattress. The view out of this world. Friendly staff, superb breakfast.

We spent 6 nights at Ocean View House in September 2025.  The hotel was fantastic.  First of all, the staff were friendly, kind and helpful.  The gardens and views from the hotel were amazing.  The rooms are clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was delicious with many healthy choices.  The hotel is an easy walk to Camps Bay and Uber taxi's are readily available.  The hotel is highly recommended.

This place is wonderful in every way. They have immaculate views and they do such a great job of working to keep the grounds beautiful.  The staff are hardworking and friendly. We especially enjoyed Supreme, he saved us from a precarious situation with a driver, and Promise, who has a pleasant disposition and contagious smile. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need. Lambert, the owner, is always around to make sure your stay is comfortable. Kudos to him for his diligence. Don’t hesitate to book here!

An absolute gem! Firstly the location is perfect for all tourist activities, restaurants, beaches and V & A Waterfront. The views amd proximity to the Ocean is unbelievable! There's plenty of safe off street parking in stunning gardens, koi ponds leading you to a beautiful reception with welcoming staff anytime of the day or night. Our room.....much larger than expected,  beautifully furnished with a modern comfortable luxurious home away from home feel...everything is super neat and clean. Wonderful touches like the notepad, the snacks, welcome letter and gorgeous bathroom soaps and bathsalts.  I was treated to a hearty healthy breakfast each morning overlooking the ocean. Smashed avo on toast with a few strips of crispy bacon and an Oat milk cappuccino! Croissant with smoked salmon, emmental cheese, and a side of hummus and olives! The gardens are truly splendid, everything is well considered and thought through. The owners can be very proud and I highly recommend this stay for anyone! Oh, and lovely swimming pools x 2!

We had an ocean view suite and it was gorgeous, really spacious and modern with a perfect view of the ocean and mountains. |Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and because they don’t serve evening food they ordered us a pizza takeout on our first evening which was very good also. ||It took us about 15mins to walk into Camps bay - we were so glad we picked here to stay as Camps Bay was so chaotic in comparison to the calm and peace of Ocean View House. ||The staff were fantastic, really friendly and so nice to our little baby. ||Would highly recommend people to stay here!
