Please reference ADP training  

- Add new salary into the salary tip pool.  

- Note the tip shares promised to a salary manager should never be edited or reduced and raises can only be provided if there is an excess of shares due to salary movement  

- Submit the pay structure breakdown to your GM/Chef/Regionals/VPs for review and approval. Including the tip breakdown.  

- Once approved – onboard the partner 

NOTE! The salary is usually a base salary and does not include the tip income.  

- Order business cards once their email is created 

- Email IT and make sure the new manager is on the correct distribution lists, for example a new bar manager is on the 'all Joey bar managers' list  

- Email new sous chef/management $ breakdown to Controller, Payroll, GM/Chef, Regional 

- Update Management/Sous Chef rate in Skillet 

- Remind GM/Chef to submit a request for a salary box 

- Assign office cubby

- Provide a copy of roles and responsibilities

- Provide keys and codes

- Submit offboarding ticket through Spark 

- Remove from Daily Profit Report distribution list  

- Submit new sous chef/management calculations to payroll, controller, 

- GM/Chef and Regional 

- Update Management/Sous chef rate in Skillet 

- Remove salary manager from the tip pool distribution breakdown. 

- Disable credentials for Micros login 

- Remove from Atlas 

- Clean out cubby in office 

- Collect keys 

- Change safe codes 

Salary Manager Termination Checklist

Vacation pay is 4% of gross earnings  

Vacation pay is increased to 6% of gross earnings after 5 years of employment 

The amount is added to each pay cheque and paid bi-weekly 

Partners can track the amount added to their pay cheque on ADP 

Vacation Pay - Hourly

Vacation pay for salary managers is prorated for the calendar year 

4.62 hours is earned every pay period 

4.62 x 26 pay periods = 120.12 hours of vacation time.  Divided by 8 hours in a workday = 15.01 vacation DAYS earned in a full calendar year 

Time off requests need to be submitted through the calendar section in ADP
