Where is The Hangar located?

We are located at 17 E. Philadelphia St in York, PA. You will find our venue in the first floor of The Grotto Commons.

Question 2

Do you only host your own events, or can I rent/use the space for an event of my own?

Accepted Answer

YES! Our venue is a community space for anyone to pilot their events. If you have an idea about an event and would like to try it out at The Hangar, you should ask us about our Flight School Program which includes event support and a reduced rental rate.

Question 3

How many people can fit in The Hangar?

Our space is approximately 2,000 sq ft - capacity will change based on the layout of the venue, chairs and tables used, etc. We generally say that the space will accommodate up to 100 guests.

Where can I park?

The closest parking garage is located at 25 W Philadelphia St (directly across from the Appell Center)

Is the building handicap accessible?

Accepted Answer

At this time, our entrances are not handicap accessible. However our staff will make every effort to assist all visitors with accessing our space. We are actively working on making our main entrance handicap accessible.
