The CSB’s optimal blend of accuracy and readability makes it a trustworthy, easy-to-understand resource for kids to study and memorize today―and to live and share for a lifetime. BEST FOR: Kids beginning their journey into Scripture ― With easy-to-read text, engaging stories, and vibrant full-color illustrations, this Bible invites young readers to explore the Bible’s big picture in a way that’s fun and accessible. Parents, Sunday school teachers, and children’s ministry leaders ― The age-appropriate study helps, thought-provoking questions, and clear explanations support teaching and discussion in home and church settings. Children who benefit from visual learning ― Packed with colorful maps, timelines, infographics, and illustrations, this edition brings Bible history and concepts to life, making learning memorable and exciting. Young readers who need a readable translation ― The CSB translation balances clarity and accuracy, helping kids understand Scripture without losing the original meaning. Families wanting a high-quality, durable Bible for kids ― The sturdy construction and kid-friendly design ensure this Bible can handle regular use, from bedtime reading to Sunday school classes. Gift givers seeking a recognized, trusted children’s Bible ― Winner of the prestigious ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) Award, this Bible stands out as an excellent choice for birthdays, Christmas, or other special occasions. Parents and kids will love: Full-color photos, illustrations, archaeological images, and timelines on every page bring the world of the Bible to life alongside the complete CSB text ― 1,472 pages designed around the way children ages 6–12 actually engage with a book. For kids building their first relationship with Scripture who need more than words on a page to connect with God’s Word. QR codes link directly to educational videos, discussion questions, and activity pages tied to each specific passage ― turning a reading session into an interactive experience a child can explore on any device. For parents, teachers, and children’s ministry leaders who want the Bible to reach a child where they live, not just where they sit. Five-part book introductions (Who, What, When, Where, Why) open every book of the Bible, and “Christ in Context” sections show how each book connects to Jesus and the gospel before a child ever reaches the New Testament. For elementary-age readers ready to understand the whole Bible as one connected story, not 66 unrelated books. Topical concordance, glossary, and Character Field Guide give an elementary-age reader the tools to navigate Scripture on their own ― looking up names, words, and topics without a parent’s help. For kids in homeschool, Sunday school, or independent reading who are building the habit of studying the Bible themselves. ECPA Christian Book Award winner, Bibles category, 2023 ― an independent recognition from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association given to Bibles demonstrating outstanding quality in content and design. Durable hardcover binding with ribbon marker and presentation page for personalized gift giving at baptism, Easter, first Bible, birthday, or Christmas. FAQs Q: How is this different from other children’s Bibles? A: Most children’s Bibles are either simplified Bible stories ― not the complete text ― or text-only Bibles without supplementary content. The Explorer Bible contains the complete CSB text alongside full-color content built for the way children actually read. The QR code component is also distinctive: each code links directly to the specific passage on that page, connecting what a child reads to videos and activities they can explore beyond the book. Q: What does “Placing God’s Word in the Middle of God’s World” mean for this Bible? A: It is the Explorer Bible’s design philosophy: every feature is built to show a child how the Bible connects to the world they already know. “Exploring Creation” sections tie modern objects and phenomena back to Scripture; “Excavating the Past” shows real archaeological evidence for biblical events; timelines place biblical history alongside world history a child may have learned at school. The aim is for a child to finish a reading session not just knowing what the text says, but seeing how it is alive and real in the world around them.
