I wanted to visit the restaurant because i was told it was really good. Looked online at the menu to see Lobster. Drove close to an hour to get there, only to be told that Lobster is not being served because its not in season. Why have it listed online if its not available? I expect this behavior from a cookshop, not a fine dining establishment. I was told that it would be removed from the menu immediately but I checked online today and its still there. Horrible customer service and no regards whatsoever to wasting someone's time. This level of service seems to be across the board in Jamaica, where businesses will have such low value customer service but charging extremely high prices. The service has to match the value. The way the server said "just choose something else" just shows how these people have no respect for your time or money. Didn't even offer me a free water in exchange for the inconvenience. Its sad because I live in this community and was told it was the best restaurant in the area....but I will never find out because I definitely wont return. I passed at least 5 restaurants to get there. Also had to park at the bottom of hill and leave my car unattended.....then walk some big hill just to be told there is no lobster. Jamaica has to do better especially is businesses that are targeted towards tourists. Please step you game up and provide a better service. It honestly makes me not want to visit locations that charge alot of money because they never match the value

Geejam is slightly of the main road situated up on a hillside that offers a magnificent view of the Portland Coastline.|The rooms are beautiful, extremely clean and very comfortable. My only complaint was the shower floor needed to be more of an angle for better drainage and maybe some more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Other than that, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we were made to feel so welcome and looked after! They even set aside a private dining experience for my birthday just to help us celebrate. It was very romantic! ||I would definitely come back here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury boutique experience in Jamaica that doesn’t have an international chain vibe. This is more private, quiet luxury!

The hotel staff welcomed us with warmth and friendliness. The location is stunning.we went en famille with two children aged 8 and 3. We ate lunch breakfast and dinner on several occasions. The food was delicious hot fresh and I would recommend the shrimp wrap chicken dishes and lobster. We swam in the lovely infinity pool overlooking the bluest of seas. The views are beautiful. Sam Mahon Baker and Brian the head barman and all the waiting staff could not have been more attentive. We all said how much we would all go back to Geejam if we could. We had a great studio tour on one of our last nights which was enlightening fun and really fascinating. The tour was given by Co-owner of Geejam Steve Beaver, and was highly entertaining. Thanks all for looking after us. We swam and sunbathed at Geejam beach and played many a game of pool in the loveliest of surroundings. Many thanks all who made our time there so memorable.
