Hi, I'm Bailey! Welcome to Francine's Place

Where Francine's Footsteps are Alive & Well.

Francine's Place is named for my grandmother, Francine—a humanitarian in Durham, NC, alongside my grandfather. They passed about three years ago, and I hold them close every day. Their lives were built around showing up for people: advocating, supporting, and making sure no one felt alone in navigating hard systems.

Francine's Place carries that forward. I work in disability advocacy and following the lead my grandparents set. Same warmth, same insistence on dignity, same belief that people deserve to be supported well and cared for.

A bit about me.

I'm a graduate-trained mental health professional seeking to connect with others around clinical, administrative, and program-support work within community mental health and wellness systems. My background integrates psychology, special education (non-licensure), and ongoing mental health & wellness training.

My professional identity rests on three pillars: advocacy (amplifying the voices of individuals and families navigating complex systems), system navigation (decoding and operationalizing Tailored Plans and state regulations), and clinical mentorship (supporting families and staff through documented, regulation-compliant supervision).

I'm passionate about advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical systems navigation to improve outcomes across service settings—and I bring a unique integration of psychology, special education, and wellness training to every interaction.
