I paid $60 for a boot, $45 for a copay, and $20 for an xray day of. I then got a bill for $270, $220 being for the boot and the other for the xray that I had already paid for. This violates the no surprises act. I was quoted just $60 plus the $45 and $20 on office and ended up with an extra $300 charge. That is ridiculous this place and insurance is a scam. Avoid this place at all costs and save your money. Don’t buy the boot just buy it on Amazon if you must go to this doctor.

New patients beware. Absolute scammers. I went to the first session upon getting a referral from Kaiser. Was charged $40 copay, then advised the staff that Kaiser had already taken an X-ray and is on file. They insisted on taking another X-ray under the premise that they checked my insurance and CONFIRMED I would not get charged for additional imaging. All Dr. Patel was able to tell me after the X-ray and $40 copay was to get additional imaging then come back later. A month goes by and I received in the mail a bill for said additional X-ray done at the office. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING BACK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET GOUGED OF YOUR MONEY.

Dr. Patel and her staff are AMAZING! I love the personal attention, patience,  and care for my recent bunion surgery! Although the are very busy, every staff member provide the best customer service and also take the time to follow up with requests. I know I am in great hands for my next bunion surgery for the other foot.

very difficult to contact anyone over the phone and was trying to be seen for the first time was way to challenging for them that i just decided not to be seen by them because any other problems that may arise would just further escalate my frustration. sadly because they probably have a great doctor but the staff needs some more experience in there job and need to work on communication customer service.

Doctor Patel and her staff are really helpful, they are very fast my appointment is no longer than 30 minutes. I really recommend Empire foot and ankle center, LOVE THEM
