we had such a wonderful experience after stumbling into CaViRo accidentally. the hostess did a great job of bringing us in as we were walking down the street and the staff was extremely accommodating and kind throughout our dinner (especially our server Angel - who was an absolute sweetheart and remained very attentive throughout the night). food was great (we ordered a broad array of dishes and were pleasantly surprised by most everything). great place in the center of tulum with some of the best service we have received EVER - let alone on our trip. :)

Food is incredibly mid, no idea why this place has good ratings.

Excelente lugar para venir a disfrutar de música, bailar y divertirte. Tienes niños?? No te preocupes cuentan con un espacio ideal para ellos, dónde disfrutarán de momentos agradables y tú también!!! Ven a conocerlo!!!
Con distintos ambientes para que pases buenos momentos, aislate en la cabina para platicar con los amigos, quedate afuera donde la arena te hará bailar suavemente. Próximamente comidas!!! Ven caminando, en moto, bici, pero ven!!!

Unique restaurant that shows many faces in the name of entertainment. We were drawn in by the sweet hostesses during the day who were nice enough to explain the menu. We came back that night. We were seated outside in the large dining area installed on sand which makes for a rather unique experience. Relaxing. But it’s Saturday night and the TVs were broadcasting a really good mix of videos from the early 90s (think dance music like «The Rythme of the night » by Corona) so we surprised ourselves reminiscing those forgotten songs of the early 90s. We were craving seafood. We went for the shrimp aguachile toast, then reef shrimp, shrimp cocktail and finally, shrimp ceviche. While the establishment bills itself as a seafood place, shrimps come back often on the menu and that’s more likely what you will order. Don’t worry about the repetition, it does not get boring ! Bizarre to say but the standout dish …was free?! Yes, that’s right, they brought fresh bread, homemade butter and shrimp bisque and wow, the taste of those were outstanding. I hope they keep this appetizer tradition to start meals because I would come back for that bisque any day. While the aguachile toast was very good, you will find a familiar taste and combination of ingredients. The dish I would recommend is the shrimp ceviche which was both unique and great tasting. The reef shrimp was the weakest dish. While good, there was nothing special about it. We were surprised to finish the meal and the drinks with a live band which was very good and sounded great. Surprised because it was not advertised anywhere. Angel was the waiter and he was always present when we needed him and discreet at the same time, above average service. Highly recommended. A fun place for some serious food with an outstanding playlist if you also happen to love early 90s dance music 🎶 - they know how to entertain if you are in that mood for a night out in Tulum.
