Hi! I'm Amanda! :) I'm so glad you found me! 

I'm a doctoral-level English and French professor with 20+ years of teaching experience. 

I hold 3 degrees in Linguistics and French, as well as a TESOL certificate and TEFL Business English certificate. 

I have taught for companies such as TakeLessons, VIPKids, SayABC, Verbling, etc. and in higher education at the University of Florida, English Language Institute, Santa Fe College, Ohio University, and more.

I offer individual (1:1) English lessons. We can meet online or in-person. 

I accept adult students from all levels of English. I am available days, evenings, and weekends: Thursday - Saturday.

It's your choice! We can practice conversation skills, build vocabulary, or work on grammar structures. 

My teaching methodology is based in real-life contexts with evidence-based practices to ensure your learning time is optimized and that your agency builds leading to increased confidence!

What's a Lesson Like?

:( I wish I could do lessons for free, but unfortunately I do need to pay rent each month. I can work with you on cost.

Payment methods: CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash.

Cost: $50/1 hour or $80/2 hours

Discounts for immigrants - $40/1 hour or $70/2 hours

*$50 retainer required.*
