Tax Invasion was made during a 24-hour Game Jam held by the LMU Game Development Club. I was paired up with two random people and within that team, we organized and coordinated making an arcade-style survival shooter. I was in charge of coding, managing Unity, and design choices. My other partners worked on art and animations, music, story, and playtesting. I helped to coordinate most of the workflow and delegate tasks since, for my partners, this was the first time they had made virtual games. We ended up scoring 2nd in the overall game jam.

Say Cheese was a solo project made during the Nokia 3310 Game Jam. In the game, you play as a camera looking to collect all its film while completing platforming puzzles. This game was my first time participating in a Game Jam and was a fun learning experience. I was only able to participate in half of the Game Jam due to time constraints with class but felt I was able to put out a good project. The main lesson I took from this experience was the importance of time management as I still remember the rush I was in to put out the product when I found bugs I didn't expect. The game was put out in a semi-playable state but since then I've fixed it to make it fully playable. I feel like the lesson of time management truly helped with the success of creating and coordinating Tax Invasion.
