What services do you offer?

We offer barefoot trimming and horseshoeing options based on your horse’s individual needs. Metal shoes are hand forged and modified to provide for a custom fit, tailored specifically to your equine. We also incorporate many modern materials and procedures, including composites and glue ons to provide the best suited option for your horses needs.

Do you do corrective/therapuetic shoeing and trimming?

Yes, we work with all local veterinarians and equine professionals, in a collaborative effort to return your equine to soundness or increase their comfort level. We provide an experienced aproach to pathologies and lamnesses, including laminits and navicular.

How long have you been farrier?

I shoed my first horse in 2002 and have been a full time professional farrier since 2006.

Where did you recieve your farrier education?

My first exposure to horseshoeing occurred, while attending a guide/packing school in 2002. While crude by my standards today, this sparked a life long quest for knowledge and craftsmanship. I am a 2006 graduate of Wolverine Farrier School. In addition, I have been privileged to apprentice with several  journeymen farriers, vets and leaders in our industry. I have a strong passion for continuing education, so that I can best serve my clients and their equine companions.

What breeds/disiplines do you work on?

We work with and are knowledgeable in all breeds and disiplines. Specializing, in shoeing sport and pleasure horses for performance and longevity. Promoting, soundness and overall hoof health in barefoot horses. In addition we are  thoroughly experienced, in lameness and therapeutic care,  in conjunction with your veterinarian.

Do you work on unruly horses?

Accepted Answer

Whether young, old, sore, lame or disrespectful, nervous, unhandled? If your horse can not stand patiently, for a few minutes at a time, while farrier work is being performed. Sedation must be aquired through your veterinarian prior to your appointment. It is impossible to, perform quality work on a horse that can not stand properly. Not to mention, the saftey concerns for the horses, farrier and handler.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards and venmo for payment, of services and products sales.
