Charlie is an aggressive top order batter and pace bowler with extensive experience in both English and international cricket. He has played Premier League cricket in England and is known for his attacking style at the crease and ability to take games away from the opposition.

Now based in Australia, Charlie made headlines after scoring an unbeaten 122 in the Grand Final for Carnegie South Cricket Club, leading his team to victory in a standout performance.

With experience playing and training in Australia and Cape Town, Charlie has also worked alongside some of the best coaches in the world, including Gary Kirsten, gaining elite insights into batting, bowling, and high-performance preparation.

Charlie’s coaching focuses on helping players develop confidence, intent, and consistency empowering cricketers to play with freedom while improving their technical foundations.

About Coach Charlie

Ben is an experienced top-order batsman with a strong background in both English and Australian cricket. He has played Minor County cricket for Northumberland and competed in the Premier League in England for the past seven years, consistently opening the batting and performing at a high level.

His cricket journey has also taken him overseas, where he’s played and coached in Australia and Cape Town, gaining valuable experience in different playing conditions and environments.

Ben has trained with and learned from some of the world’s best coaches, including Gary Kirsten, whose insights have shaped his approach to both playing and coaching.

Ben’s coaching philosophy focuses on improving every aspect of a player’s game from technical skill and decision-making to mindset and confidence helping cricketers of all levels reach their potential.
