I blend soul, alt-pop, and rock with influences from artists like Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Orson, Phil Colins, Queen, - indie pop, funk, and classic songwriting.

Do you perform covers or original music?

Both - I perform acoustic covers as well as original material depending on the event or booking. Since relocating to Newark, I am looking for cover gigs and teaching at the moment.

Private events, weddings, bars, restaurants, corporate events, parties, live venues, and intimate acoustic sessions.

Typically 1–3 hours depending on the booking. Custom set lengths are available.

Yes - I’m happy to learn special requests with enough notice.

Not usually, i prefer to have my set list designed in advance as I create a fully flowing performance from start to finish - I move from one song to the next without taking breaks to talk.

Mainly solo, but band or duo setups may be available depending on the event. I can also use tech like drum pads to add more sounds to performances, if that's something you are looking for.

Yes — both live and remote session work are available, for any of the instruments I play. (Only breakables provided when session drumming)

Yes - travel is possible depending on location and availability. I am currently based in the East Midlands so will gig in Newark, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby - traveling further to spots like York and London.

Rates vary depending on the event, duration, travel, and session requirements. Acoustic cover sets start from £60 per hour (house PA). Session work from £40 per hour plus expenses. 1 to 1 instrument tuition is from £20 per hour.   Contact me for a custom quote.

Zeus is a South African born singer-songwriter. Having been in a wide variety of bands and projects based in Bristol, and featured on BBC introducing several times, Zeus has been working solo - bringing in session musicians when needed -since 2024.  (Don't try to pay him in beer, he's T total!)
