August 2024 - Ongoing Our team reviewed the effects of hyponobirthing on pain management, birthing outcomes, and the psychological well-being of mothers. Through a careful review utilizing PRISMA guidelines, we curated a total of 18 RCTs to evaluate the outcomes of hypnobirthing. This project was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Adrienne Loftis, D.O., FACOOG at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas. May 2022 - Ongoing Developed a novel utilization of machine learning to understand functional outcomes from protein sequences. Focused on identifying the Protospacer Adjacent Motif (PAM) DNA sequence of Cas9 proteins, I developed a neural network architecture from existing foundational models into a novel predictive model. Model refinement is underway to improve output accuracy and to expand applications to other protein domains. This project was conducted under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Jin Liu, PhD. at the University of North Texas Health and Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas.
