Hey! I'm Jetty, freelance writing coach. I have a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction, graduated with honors, and spent 5 years teaching writing in public schools. I'm trying to make some money on the side, and I figure this is a way to do that while providing a service that actually helps people.

I have a knack for organizing information that has always made writing papers pretty easy for me, and I've used that skill to help tons of people get pretty good grades on their papers - usually A's or high B's - even when I know pretty much nothing about the subject matter.

Throughout grad school I had to write plenty of 10+ page papers with pretty limited timeframes. I'm pretty confident I could still knock out an 8 page paper in a day if I had to, so feel free to ask for my help even on short notice.

Proofreading/editing: $2 per page
I correct spelling/grammar/formatting, move things around and just generally make the paper easier for your prof.

Works cited / References page: $5
Send me your sources and I'll format the page for you.

Finding sources: $5 each
I'll look through the databases I have access to and find academic sources relevant to your topic (hopefully in pdf). I'll even send you a quick summary of the source, why you'd cite it and what info you're getting from it.

General outline: $20:
I give you a ~1 page bullet point set of instructions for what to write about first, second, and last, along with suggestions for what kind of sources to look for and what information to cite from them.

Detailed outline: $50
I give you a paragraph-by-paragraph bullet point list of what to write about. I'll suggest what sources to cite and how at each step. All you need to do is fill in the blanks with the information.

Depending on what you need, I can either send you stuff over email, or we can schedule a meet on Zoom. Just pretend it's a group project and we're working on it together. I'll work with what you have and give you everything you need to put together a high-quality draft.

How does this work?

No.

I'm hoping for a good number of clients, and, even better, repeat business. If I just stole people's money, I could probably only do it a few times before word got around. What I'm offering is fairly easy for me to do, so I'd rather do that than risk the heat from scamming people.

That being said, I still can't really prove it before you pay me. That's one of the reasons I charge amounts for small services. I understand you're taking a risk, so I'll at least make the risk small for you.

If you're nervous about giving me a bunch of money all at once, feel free to ask for small things one at a time and pay as you go.

Are you going to scam me?

For the most part, I don't really need to know anything about the topic you're writing about. I have helped people write papers on things I have no knowledge about, like film theory and art therapy, and they got A's. If you can figure out 3 main things to write about in the paper, I can give you a template for organizing your information and a list of info you need to find from sources.

That being said, if I can't verify any of the actual information you write, I can't guarantee the paper is actually good. All I can do is make sure it's well written. You won't lose any points on grammar/organization/clarity, that's for sure.

If you're doing a paper on some high level stuff that's more symbols than words and I really can't help you, I won't take your money don't worry.

What if my paper is super specific?

Not really. I'm only a writing coach. My job is to take the information you already know and organize it into a coherent paper. I'm not writing it for you, I'm not doing the research for you, I'm not taking the course for you.

You're being graded on how well you understand the content you're writing about, but writing a paper that actually gets a good grade is its own separate skillset. You do the work to know what you're talking about, I just make sure you don't get knocked for the procedural part.
