Book a Dog Training Virtual Advice Session
I am a dog trainer & a fear-based behavior specialist with a focus on fearful, shutdown, anxious, & behaviorally complex dogs. I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship & facilitating humane opportunities to develop coping skills. Understanding primal behaviors & helping dogs learn to embrace being 'a dog' is a core part of my practices. My goal is to empower owners through equipping them with the knowledge that they need to build a foundation for a great relationship with their dog that will help them thrive. These virtual sessions are designed to give you a second set of eyes on what’s happening with your dog. You'll be asked to complete an intake survey prior to your session. We’ll talk through the behavior you’re seeing, what may be driving it, what you’ve already tried, & practical next steps for moving forward. My 60 minute sessions are judgement free with a belief that there is not a one-size-fits-all training formula. Just realistic guidance focused on the dog in front of you & helping you build a better relationship with them. Whether you have questions, want feedback, or just need some dedicated time, I’m here to help!
My approach grew from rehabilitating my own working-line German Shepherd & Belgian Malinois, & was strengthened through formal education in canine training & behavior through the Animal Behavior Institute & hands-on work with behaviorally challenged shelter dogs at my local SPCA. I've also spent a significant amount of time partnering with& mentoring under Ki's K9 Training.
