What time of day should I expect service?

When the snow accumulation level in your service agreement is reached, our crews are automatically dispatched and you will not need to contact us.

We do not operate on a set schedule. The timing of snow service varies from day-to-day. Due to the unpredictable nature of winter storms, there is no specific arrival time at your property.

What is roof snow removal and do I need it?

The accumulation of snow on your roof throughout the winter is subject to frequent thaw and freeze cycles. Those cycles, combined with rising heat in you house, may begin to pool water on your roof.

By clearing the snow from your roof, we are able to remove the source of the ice dams and mitigate how large they can form.

I have heat tape. Do I need to have the snow cleared from my roof?

Heating cables will melt channels in the ice to allow for adequate drainage. While this may seem like a fix-all solution, often times we find heating cables get overloaded by working too hard causing a short in the electrical, inadequate voltage for the system, and a myriad of other problems.

Our take on roof snow: the more you can do to protect your home, the better off you are. Besides, when it's really cold outside, you should probably layer up to avoid frostbite.
