How do I book a tattoo?

Complete the booking form with your idea, preferred placement, approximate size, dates and references.
 I personally review every request and usually reply by email within 1–2 working days. Your appointment is confirmed after we agree on the project details and the deposit is received.

Where are you based?

I’m based at Ginkgo Tattoo Space in Lisbon, Portugal. I also travel for selected guest spots and tattoo conventions. Upcoming locations and booking availability are announced on Instagram and through this page.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Accepted Answer

The price depends on the size, placement, level of detail and estimated working time. After reviewing your request, I’ll send you an individual price estimate before you book. For larger projects requiring several sessions, we will discuss the approximate number of sessions in advance.

Do I need to have a finished idea?

No. You can send me a general subject, feeling, story or a few visual references. I can help develop the concept and adapt it to your body, while keeping it connected to my artistic style.

When will I see the final design?

I usually prepare the final design close to the appointment, based on everything we have discussed. You will see it before we begin tattooing, and reasonable adjustments to the composition, size or placement can be made together

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your appointment and reserve the date. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The exact amount and booking conditions will be sent to you before payment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Get enough sleep, eat a proper meal and stay hydrated before your session. Avoid alcohol, heavy sun exposure and arriving with irritated or sunburned skin. 
Wear comfortable clothes that provide easy access to the tattoo area

How should I take care of and look after my tattoo?

You will receive detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. During healing, keep the tattoo clean, avoid scratching or picking it, and protect it from swimming, soaking and direct sunlight. If you have any questions during healing, you can contact me.

How painful is a tattoo?

Accepted Answer

Pain varies depending on the placement, size, session length and your individual sensitivity. Most clients find the process manageable, and we can take short breaks when necessary. I can also help you choose a suitable placement if pain is a concern.
