This is the Rooted In Kindness Movement.
We weren’t born divided. Hate is learned. This started as a small idea after watching people run toward safety, and watching others choose to open their doors.
The tree is a canopy.
Its roots are shared even if our branches grow in different directions.
The double circle represents inclusion, interconnectedness and community. The movement is bigger than the stickers, but the stickers are a symbol and a signal. They’re meant to be placed on your home, your car, your bag, or anywhere you move through the world. They quietly say…you are welcome here, this is a kind place, this is a safe person. They mean you won’t shut the door on someone asking for help.
That you won’t turn someone away because of who they are.
That you won’t harm another human being, with words, fists, or silence. People are craving community and connection right now.
This is about remembering who we were before fear, before hate, and before division were taught to us.
Rooted In Kindness is a movement to reconnect us, to bring us back to our shared roots, and back to who we were meant to be when we came into this world.
