What is my ultimate end goal with this platform/website?

I created this page to try and connect with people on a deeper level. It is so easy to go through each day worried about yourself, not ever taking time to consider what help other people in this world may need. If I can help improve say one person's life everyday, that is better than just sitting back and doing nothing in the end!

Why am I so committed to improving mental health?

This is a question I have received a lot since creating this page last year. Mental Health is extremely complicated and misunderstood. Psychological issues are not as black and white as many people still tend to believe. Furthermore, these types of issues are NOT simple fixes. Anyone who has had or still has mental stints understands the jubilation of someone addressing their problems and trying to help them through their troubles.

How do you garner attention in a meaningful way through social media?

Accepted Answer

One of the best ways I have been able to garner attention digitally within these last few years is through empathy. When you constantly scroll through these online platforms, I have heard that it build a sense of numbness. Essentially, the issue is that social media amplifies your dopamine levels and makes you less in tune with not only your own emotions, but ALSO the emotions of others around you. To counter such, my best advice would be to focus on connect more with people intentionally and meaningfully.

Don't fight yourself so much and definitely do not hide your emotions...
