Absolutely. We started Michael & Jazz because we wanted reviews that felt like real recommendations, not advertisements.

Whether we’re invited or visiting completely on our own, our goal is the same: to share our honest experience and what we genuinely thought.

A collaboration never guarantees a positive review and at the end of the day, we want you to know whether we think a place is actually worth your time and money.

Are you only reviewing spots in San Antonio?

Accepted Answer

San Antonio is home, so most of our reviews are focused here, but we love a good day trip!

We’re happy to visit surrounding areas like Boerne, New Braunfels, Seguin, Fredericksburg, and beyond.

For collaborations more than a two-hour drive from San Antonio, we may request travel accommodations as part of the partnership.

Do you only review restaurants?

Nope! While food is a big part of what we do, Michael & Jazz is all about trying and reviewing experiences. We're open to restaurants, attractions, events, activities, hotels, local businesses, products, and more. If you think we'd have fun trying it, we'd love to hear about it.

Is there a fee if I want you to come review my business?

We offer both organic reviews and paid collaborations!

We regularly visit businesses on our own based on community recommendations (through comments and our suggestion box), places we're excited to try, and local businesses we'd love to support. These visits are selected by us and do not require a collaboration fee.

If you'd like to guarantee a visit and feature from Michael & Jazz, we also offer paid collaborations. Our collaboration fee covers our time, travel, filming, editing, and publishing. Keep in mind this is never a guaranteed positive review, only an honest one.
