How should I travel to Munich??

From Paris: You can take a train from Gare de l'Est to Munich, or you can fly from CDG to MUC

From Canada: Either pick a route that takes you right to Munich International Airport, or fly into a major European airport and take a train from there :)

How can I get around Munich, especially on the wedding day?

Accepted Answer

We recommend that you and some friends rent a car together!! 
.
The ceremony is in the city centre, but the reception is about an hour outside the city, and public transport will not run late into the night.
.
You can rent a car to be picked up and dropped off at the airport for as low as 40 euros a day! This will give you a lot of freedom to get around without having to rely on anyone or any kind of public transport :)

Where can I stay?

Unfortunately we will not be able to host you, so again, we recommend finding some friends and getting an Airbnb or something like this :)

When should I arrive and depart?

The ceremony will start at 12:30, and the reception will end around 00:30, so whatever works for you around those times :)

What should I wear?

Our wedding has no specific color scheme or theme, so come in formal or semi formal wear that you are comfortable in :)

The end of October in Munich can be from 3°C to 11°C although both the ceremony and reception are inside, so dress accordingly!!
