OUR STORY
The Layers project was founded in 2024 by Italian vocal coach and choir director Guido Giordana at Franco Mussida's prestigious music college CPM Music Institute in Milan.
Twelve pop vocalists with diverse skills and stylistic backgrounds got together to lay the foundations of a unique and innovative vocal ensemble and build an eclectic and modern repertoire that includes rearranged covers as well as original songs.
In 2025 Layers debuted at and won "SoleVoci A Cappella International Contest", receiving acclaim from global a cappella leading figures such as Deke Sharon, Jens Johansen, and Lorenzo Subrizi.
Within the framework of the Layers Vocals subproject, the ensemble collaborates with outside music projects in writing, recording and performing gigs, as with Sanremo Festival-winner Lucio Corsi and renowned Italian singer Madame.
Thanks to their synergy and cohesion, Layers have developed a high-quality sound that can adapt to multiple contexts and music genres.
