Karen Rubado is a Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) artist working in hand weaving, exploring identity, memory, and belonging through the interplay of structure and spontaneity. She completed her MFA at Elam School of Fine Arts (2017) and has exhibited widely across Aotearoa, including RM Gallery, Northart, Melanie Roger Gallery, and Te Tuhi. She is a resident artist at Studio D3, Devonport.
