Hi, I'm Josh

Josh Valentin (he/they) is the Junior Program Officer of Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan, the sociopolitical apostolate of the Philippine Jesuits. With an undergraduate degree in Political Science minoring in Creative Writing from De La Salle University-Manila, he currently works with SLB in their mission to provide citizen conscientization guided by Catholic Social Teachings. He is able to do this by overseeing SLB's information ecosystem that provides political analysis on Philippine social issues through its monthly newsletter Simbahayan, and its radio show Kuwentuhang Bayan at Radyo Katipunan 87.9FM. He also writes political briefers, as well as conducting national situationers and talks representing the apostolate. His current work is guided by years of experience in ecumenical and youth advocacy groups, which guide him on the grace-filled journey towards creating alternative realities.
