I’m Melissa “Coach Bill” Gliddon, founder of Game with Gliddon and West Georgia Nightmare Fastpitch. Softball has shaped so much of my life. It’s how I met my late husband, Alex, and where so many of our dreams were built. After losing him, I felt called to turn that pain into purpose.

I started coaching in 2022, using the game we loved to pour into young athletes through lessons, mentorship, and development. From there, Game with Gliddon was created, followed by the launch of West Georgia Nightmare in Fall 2023. What began as a small dream has grown into a place where athletes can train, be challenged, be loved, and believe in themselves.

Everything I’ve built is rooted in honoring Alex’s legacy while creating a family first culture where athletes can be supported on and off the field. This is more than a brand to me. It’s a mission, a story, and a piece of him that still lives on through the game.
