Writing lets me channel the parts of my personality I usually keep hidden from the public. It allows me to step into someone else’s skin entirely, without losing an inch of who I actually am.

​It lets me excavate deep-buried memories—the good ones I’m still longing for, and the rock-bottom ones I’m still trying to make sense of. During my coldest, most sorrowful days, the page is the only thing that genuinely keeps me warm.

​The ink never asks for anything back. No judgment. No conditions. Just a pure, unspoken voice finally finding a natural way out.

​Even now, way past what I thought was my growth phase, the process still surprises me. It accidentally builds a whole new version of me I never planned for—like discovering a completely uncharted territory of myself.

It’s joyful, it’s devastating, but above all, it’s real.
