Providence Food Not Bombs

The Providence chapter of Food Not Bombs is a volunteer organization that relies on donations and surplus food recovery to serve primarily vegetarian and vegan meals to the public, 3x a week. On Sunday afternoons we serve at Kennedy Plaza/Burnside Park from 2-4pm. On Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 we hold Coffee Not Capital, a breakfast share at the same location, typically offering hot coffee, bagels, pastries, and snacks. On Saturday afternoons we serve from 12-2pm at Dexter Training Grounds by Parade Street. Food and supplies are free for all- no proof of need, no proselytizing, no strings attached. TIP: All meal shares are first come first serve, until supplies last- Sunday lines often form before 2pm, and serves are often depleted by ~3:30/3:45.
