Darya Studios is a game & media company founded by Sara Shabani & Hannes Bieber and supported by the PressStart Game Founding Stipendium. It is funded by the Minister of State for Culture and the Media and organized by game – The German Games Industry Association in cooperation with the Foundation for Digital Games Culture. _________________ Climate change, the global political situation, and mistrust in science is steadily growing. Meanwhile, whales in the oceans seem to be trying to tell us something. Are they perhaps the only remaining creatures on our planet that can save us from ourselves? Our game debut DARYA is an immersive first person single player game set in a remote place at the oceans. Designed with the direct guidance of marine scientists, the game is currently in early story development and prototyping stage.
