I’m Aileen, your SNP candidate for the upcoming by-election in Whitburn and Blackburn. Growing up in West Lothian, and playing in local brass bands, I know how important music is for young people here. As a parent, our schools and staff are exceptional, and they deserve our full support. So, I will fight to protect free music lessons in schools! I also know how vital social life can be for young people’s mental wellbeing – that’s why I back better bus services and keeping our Community Centres open. With my knowledge and skills as an experienced MSP Case Worker, and as a West Lothian bairn (now parent), I promise to be your strong, local and capable voice for parents and kids on the Council.
