These support my ankles well and are my "go to" court shoe when I am not wearing my zero drop/barefoot sneakers. • TOE SOCKS FOR WOMEN/MEN BY VWELL- I have switched over to toe socks and love the way these fit! The "Coolmax" feature means my feet don't overheat. FYI, I order these socks in a "small" and wear a size 8-wide women's shoe. • ELECTROLYTE REAL SALT POWDER by Santa Cruz Paleo – If you’re human you need electrolytes! Hydrate and energize with this terrific blend, especially on the pickleball court. Our family enjoys several flavors including Kiwi, Mango, Orange, & Mango Lemonade. • XTREME SOFT PICKLEBALL OVERGRIP BY HEAD – This tacky tape is designed to help your grip while also absorbing sweat. It helps you hold the paddle handle more securely and gives a little extra cushioning. Watch YouTube for tips on how to easily put it on. • INSTANT COOLING TOWEL BY ARCTIC COOL – These towels are lifesavers. They cool you down quickly. Just add water, squeeze, and wrap around your neck. A great solution if you are prone to overheating on the court, on a hike, while gardening, you name it! • SWEET THINS LEMON SEED COOKIES BY SIMPLE MILLS – These tasty little paleo cookies, made with *real* ingredients, pack a punch! When I need a healthy sweet treat, 3 or 4 of these do the trick, making a box last a long time. Win-win! • LEMON GINGER KOMBUCHA BY HEALTH-ADE – This is a favorite to drink while I teach. This particular brand *and* flavor of kombucha makes my gut happy and healthy, I have more energy, and I eat less. I drink this on a fairly empty stomach for best results. • REVERSE OSMOSIS COUNTERTOP WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM (NO INSTALLATION) – We waited *way* too long to ensure our tap water was the best it could be. In fact, a week after we had this RO machine, I drank our tap water and could taste the chlorine in it. Yuck! • TUPPERWARE CITRUS PEELERS - If you have never used a citrus peeler you don't know what you're missing. I've had this peeler for 25 years at least. I like to "peel" grapefruit as a snack and the sharp end helps me get the white rind off. Yum! • MASON JAR "REGULAR MOUTH" DAISY LID & STRAW SETS - I use mason jars with these cute lids to store things arround my house. I've also learned mason jars are durable glasses for drinks outside. Bonus - lids with straws keep the bugs out! • CEILING FAN PULL CHAIN SET - I can't help but smile when I pull on the "mini fan" or "mini lightbulb" pulleys on the end of these ceiling fan chains. The next time you pull on *your* ceiling fan chain get it right! • PRESSURE RELIEF SEAT CUSHION BY CUSHION LAB – When I am at my desk sitting on this cushion makes my back feel SO much better. I love that it has a “back” edge to the cushion to keep my tush in place. I use it in my car too! • IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION ROLLER BY GUARD YOUR ID – I love that these come in a 3-pack because I have them in several areas of the house. I use them *daily* to easily cross out important details (account numbers, addresses) on mail and paperwork. • ROTATING 6-OUTLET SURGE PROTECTOR WALL MOUNT BY AMAZON BASICS – This wall mounted surge protector is perfect for putting behind a piece of furniture that is up against the wall. Mine is behind a small cabinet with an oddly placed outlet. Problem solved! • WOOZOO OSCILLATING FAN WITH REMOTE - Why do we own THREE of these? Because these small but mighty fans gently and *quietly* move air around a room. We place them near windows, which keeps a fresh breeze moving through our house. Lovely! • NETI-POT NASAL WASH SYSTEM - As a solopreneur there is no one to take my place if I get sick. My number one method for staying healthy is using a neti-pot daily. This plastic pot is the one I use when I travel and great for “newbies” because it has a lid. • BLUE LIGHT BLOCKING READING GLASSES MEN/WOMEN – I am wearing these as I type on my computer, haha. I like that it comes as a set of 5 so I can have them all around the house. Also available in non-readers. Protect your sleep, block blue light! • DIGITAL BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR & CUFF BY OMRON – My Apple Watch (see link) alerted me to a change in my heartbeat. I got this monitor and realized my blood pressure was off too. Turned out a new medicine was the problem, and I’m just fine. Yay! • LASH ENHANCING SERUM BY GRANDELASH-MD - One day I asked my sister, "Did you get eyelash extensions?" "No," she answered. "It's this serum!" Soon after, she gifted me a 2 mL bottle. It took about 2 months to see results, but it really works. Thanks Sis! • ANTI-AGING BB COLOR-CORRECTING DAY CREAM FOR ALL SKIN TYPES BY DR. DENESE – Finding the right makeup foundation is often tricky, but this blends easily, is lightweight, and is 40 SPF. I use it year-round as it always matches my tone and protects my skin. • DENTAL FLOSS PICKS BY PLACKERS – I hardly ever have plaque when I get my teeth cleaned. Why? Because I use these picks daily. I keep a mason jar with daisy lid (see previous link) filled with picks in the bathroom, making them easy for guests to grab too! • YOGA MAT WITH CARRIER SLING BY GAIAM – I have had my Gaiam mat forever it seems and use it almost 300 days a year. If you feel "stuck," or unsure of your future, don't wait, get this book now! • "DIRTY LAUNDRY: WHY ADULTS WITH ADHD ARE SO ASHAMED AND WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP" by Pink/Emery – A British couple candidly share experiences & tips navigating ADHD in a relationship. Short chapters make it a great "bathroom" read too! • "DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF, AND IT'S ALL SMALL STUFF" by Richard Carlson. This book is so full of wisdom that I required students in my Michigan State University leadership class to read it. It's an easy and insightful read! • AN ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE THING: A NOVEL by Hank Green – I needed a novel to read, and my son recommended this one. I asked what it was about, and he said, “If I tell you, I might spoil it. Believe me Mom, just read it.” Glad I did! • “THE THREE LITTLE FISH AND THE BIG BAD SHARK” by Ken Geist – Ken, one of my pickleball students, surprised me one day with a gift for my 4-year-old nephew. It was an adorable book HE had written! For Preschoolers to Grade 1, this book delights. • UNIVERSAL DASHBOARD OR WINDSHIELD PHONE MOUNT BY iOTTI – I have had this mount in two cars. It’s easy to install and I can put my phone on the LEFT side of my steering wheel, which is my better hearing side. Plus, it has a cool “one-hand” feature! • APPLE AIRPODS "PRO" 2ND GEN WITH MAG SAFE CHARGING CASE - My son is a total Apple "geek" and helped me pick these out. Honestly, because the foam inserts are so comfy, once I'm done with a call, I forget to take them out! • APPLE 10FT LIGHTNING CABLE, FAST CHARGER (iPhone/iPad) - Once I upgraded to a longer Apple-brand 10 foot (3 meter) cable, there was no going back! Non-Apple cables always die on me. Upgrade to this cable and be sure to take it when you travel! • PERSONALIZED STACKABLE RING – I learned a great New Year’s Resolution tip from ADHD Coach & Podcast Host, Tracy Otsuka: Pick one word to focus on each year and get a piece of jewelry with that word on it. Done! (I’m a ring size 8 and these fit perfectly.) • SLEEP MASK FOR SIDE SLEEPER BY YIVIEW - I thought all sleep masks were the same until I tried this one. It truly blocks out light and is super comfortable, even on my side. It also came with a pouch for travel. Be good to yourself, get good sleep! • NAUSEA RELIEF WRISTBANDS BY SEA-BAND – When I travel as a passenger in a car, plane, or bus I put on Sea-Bands and they really help. However, I am SUPER susceptible to nausea, so these are just my FIRST layer of prevention (see additional travel links)! • ANTI-NAUSEA GINGER GUM BY SEA-BAND – I am VERY susceptible to motion sickness and this gum works - seriously! I use it for those times when traveling and I can’t see the road, like an airport shuttle, or just before my flight takes-off/lands. • CHEWABLE NON-DROWSY BONINE MOTION SICKNESS TABLETS – Check with your doctor before taking Bonine but it works for me. It does not make me drowsy, but I do feel it’s “numbing” effect. I especially like to use it for long, multi-day journeys.
