About me
My name is Jazlyn Rodriguez, and I am a 10th grade student in the Construction Pathway at Duncan Polytechnical High School. I enjoy getting hands-on experience and learning how to work tools and machines that I have never seen before. It’s so amazing to see the process when building a project. At Ducan I have developed a bunch of new skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration while using industry tools and technology.
After high school, I am interested in continuing into construction and making my way up to becoming an architect. I want to continue learning how to plan, make, and read blueprints. Being in the Construction Pathway has helped me see how much work goes into building things, and it taught me how hard work, responsibility, teamwork, and communication are very important to be successful in the real world.
