We source our oil from family-owned plantations that have operated for four generations—long before sustainability was a trend. These farms have always practiced deforestation-free agriculture, as evidenced by historic satellite imaging.
Our palms are grown in regions of Colombia that were previously degraded pastures—not forests or peatlands—so our cultivation avoids ecosystem disruption and helps capture more carbon.
We also focus on a specific type of high oleic palm oil, from a cross between the traditional African palm (Elaeis guineensis) and the American oleic palm (Elaeis oleifera). This hybrid produces a naturally healthier oil, rich in oleic acid, stable at high heat, and great for healthy cooking.
