WOW!! Can’t express enough gratitude to Sally and Chris for this gorgeous space. We camped down by the trees, a perfect nook that feels miles out from anywhere- but with plenty of room for our big group.

At night we listened to the owls and the little stream that wraps around the site, then in the morning the birdsong was unbeatable. We even had a frog visit! Very special to feel so nestled in wildlife with such a convenient location.

We came for the Holmfirth Folk Festival weekend- no trouble for the taxi driver to find the site late at night. Parking was convenient too. After a busy and drizzly day in town, it was a huge relief to come home to this spot.

Wouldn’t miss returning for our next trip to Holmfirth! 🫶

Wow.  . . What a stunning find,  location wonderful, only 5 hardstandings with EHU, elsan point, very hot shower, spotless . . .
I really hope Sally and Chris are successful in there venture of sharing their beautiful farm with some very satisfied (if a bit envious) campers. They are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble, regularly around to chat and pass on their local knowledge.
Local pubs were all nice, very friendly and good food spots (Butchers arms looks a bit posh if you fancy having a special night out.)
We were so lucky to get such amazing weather for the BH.
Just book, (you need to register on the Wild Red caravan club site before you go, no cost, well worth taking the time), turn up and completely relax.
We have Ebikes, which were very handy as its quite hilly around the area.
I was almost tempted not to review because its so special, I wanted to keep it our little secret!

This place is like a little paradise! Stunning views, fantastic and super-clean facilities (toiletand and shower room), and the loveliest owners.

It’s a 4-minute drive to the centre of New Mill (around a 24-minute walk), or a short walk to a local pub. In the centre of New Mill, you’ll find a supermarket, butcher, and takeaways, and just a few steps up to Penistone Road there’s a lovely little café :)
