We’re a Kansas City-based lesbian couple sharing the adventures of our 4 rescue kitties: Sherlock, Tiny, Nyx, and Sol (Q) What's the story behind Val and your tiktok username? Val was our best boy. His story began on Valentine's Day, where he was found by Suzanne's best friend on the side of the road. Vets determined Val was thrown from a car and then attacked by an animal, which is why he has a nub tail and walks a bit like a bulldog. To save his crushed leg, vets inserted 9 screws total--arresting his knee in place. In other words, Val has a peg leg. He also has plates in his front paws. A few years later, Val developed a urinary issue. He had to have a $7,000+ surgery called a "PU" surgery after complications arose. Val passed away on May 23rd, 2026 from a rare bone cancer and heart failure. He was a very loved soul-kitty.
