The Visionaries is a creative platform for dance concept films. Our goal is to create a space primarily for younger kids, teens, and even young adults who are just starting out to gain experience in the world of dance on camera.  

Through each project, we aim to give artists the opportunity to explore any role they’re interested in within the filmmaking process, whether as a dancer, choreographer, videographer, editor, makeup artist, or another creative role.

The Visionaries focuses purely on film and video-based projects. We are not a company and do not produce live performances; instead, our goal is to bring creative visions to life through collaborative dance films. Participation is completely cost-free, making it an accessible opportunity for emerging artists to gain experience, build their resume, build confidence, and explore their creativity.

The Visionaries is directly tied to and operates as an extension of TGP Media, continuing its mission of providing meaningful creative opportunities for young artists in a supportive and safe environment.

With the idea of providing more opportunities for younger artists, we created The Visionaries.

 On a drive home from a TGP Dance On Camera event, we realized that many dancers rarely get the chance to be directed in front of a camera. After reflecting on the event and the resume building class, we also noticed that many younger dancers don’t have much to include on their resumes we were teaching them how to build. We noticed that most dancers graduate high school and their studios with little to no on-camera work to include on their resumes. 

The Visionaries works to solve these problems by providing opportunities for young artists who want to gain experience and break into the industry. 

how did the visionaries start?

Jossi attended the CLI Conservatory, Class of 2025. During her time there, she trained intensely, worked with renowned choreographers, and grew both professionally and artistically. She gained valuable on-camera experience through various projects. She also learned important information about building a resume, navigating the industry, and preparing for professional opportunities.

Outside of the program’s scheduled training, Jossi and her peers often created concept videos for fun and for the learning experience. Everyone used their own talents and skills while stepping into different roles they wanted to try or gain experience in.

Now, Jossi hopes to use all the information and tools she learned from the program and pass them on to young artists during the film process.

Tara founded TGP Media at age fifteen as a way of combining her love of dance and photography. Over the years she has created ambassador opportunities, intensives, and worked with dance conventions. Growing up she was always looking for creative spaces to contribute to, whether that be choreographing, taking photos, or filming. She quickly realized there wasn’t spaces for a young artist to learn these skills. This is what sparked majority of the ideas for TGP Media and The Visionaries!

As far as dance experience goes Tara has been dancing since she can remember and assistant teaching since middle school. She’s been teaching dance for two years now and is eager to keep nurturing young minds as they learn to love this art form.

Merging both dance and photography/videography is where her passions lie. Now she wishes to help other young artists find their passions in the arts.
