Studio SISU is a multidisciplinary artistic practice formed by Sini Parikka and Suvi Saastamoinen, working at the intersection of environmental art, landscape architecture, event spatial design, and placemaking. Our aim is to create bold artistic initiatives, distinctive spatial experiences and strong visual expressions that move people. Since 2023 the focus has been on site-specific environmental artworks for festivals, urban environments and everyday public spaces. We often work with light, sound, storytelling, architecture and unusual materials. We challenge the boundaries of art and architecture, building bridges between the creative field, clients, companies and users. Our strength is a combination of artistic thinking, spatial expertise and hands-on production, understanding practical realities of building ambitious pieces.
