How did you come about?

Founded at a rave in Stretford Mall, Slab and Platter really was a baptism by fire. Giving ourselves a week to sort out insurance, price records and create recipes - but being passionate creatives, we noticed a slab sized gap in the market.

At events it’s important to grab and go with ease - and our slabs are created with that in mind. Mixed with the ability to find and buy a record, paying for shipping then and there so you don’t have to carry it with you? Perfect!

You won't find just any old slab here!

Our bakes are all SLABS, tried and tested in our kitchen in South Manchester - plus, they are all completely original recipes that you won't find anywhere else. We literally CREATED them!

And our records? Hand cleaned, sourced and processed with boxes filled with rarities and big hitters you don't normally come across - all priced fairly with you in mind.

What’s the main goal?

We get bored of seeing the same bakes and records everywhere, so it's super important for us to mix things up enough to keep ourselves - and therefore you! - interested and coming back. In fact, we’ve become quite obsessed with inventing.

Our main goal? To have you leave with a completely new experience - be that musically, or by way of confectionary.

Can I book you for my event?

Of course! Please reach out to us below and we will get back to you. We are able to cater sweet or savoury treats, music media selections (or both!) - just let us know the outline, and we'll work together to bring you something great.

Within reason! Let us know what you're after and we'll let you know how possible it will be (and a rough timeline). You can also leave us your details and we can let you know when we have sourced.

I don't know what to buy! Can you recommend me something?

Of course! We have years working in music and catering, so this is properly in our wheelhouse (and we sincerely love helping you find what you didn't know you were after!) Just let us know the vibe, and we'll go from there!
